Job summary

Old Edwards Inn and Spa is seeking a friendly Spa Attendant to greet guests, maintain cleanliness, and support therapists with world-class service and information on spa offerings.

You will keep guest areas well-stocked and organized, assist with linen and dishes, and adhere to uniform and appearance standards while staying punctual and professional. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude in a busy hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or spa-related role is preferred, but not required.
• Must be bright, personable and able to get along with others.
• Highly service oriented with exemplary telephone skills and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and welcome them by name.

The Spa Attendant is responsible for serving all Spa guests, giving world class tours of the facility to Spa guests, ensuring guests’ comfort level and cleanliness of guest areas.ResponsibilitiesGreet each guest in a warm, welcoming, and genuine manner. Use guest’s name appropriately.Be friendly, helpful and smile; be courteous to all clients, guests, and co-workers; and be professionalHave complete knowledge of all spa menu items, packages, group functions and special promotions. Have knowledge of product ingredients, benefits, and applicationAdhere to all Old Edwards Inn and Spa departmental policies and proceduresPresent a well-groomed, professional appearance. You must be in full uniform while on property or at a work-related eventBe punctual and prepared for your day. Adhere to posted schedule and make any schedule requests in writing to the Spa Director at least two weeks in advanceParticipate in all spa activities including staff meetings, educational events, workshops, inventory, or promotions. Have knowledge of Spa product ingredients, benefits, and applicationReview itinerary with each guest and notify the therapist of guest’s arrivalGive information regarding spa procedures, facilities, timetables, and policies of special functionsMaintain all Spa Guest areas and provide world class guest service to all Spa guests, both internal and externalClean slippers, dispose of dirty laundry, assist therapists in stocking clean linen, restock bar, and clean spa dishesTime off should be requested 30 days in advance and submitted in writing to the Spa DirectorAssist guests as a need requires.
