Responsibilities

• Relay information between the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure orders are prepared with the correct priority.
• Eliminate obstacles that may affect service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing stations.
• Report guest comments, complaints, and any employee or guest accidents to management in a timely manner.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions to improve knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
• Contribute to maintaining the smooth operations of the country club in a fast-paced setting.

THE BASICS

Pay: $16/hour plus a tip pool

Schedule: Flexible schedule that can include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours, and split shifts (doubles) may be occasionally scheduled depending on business needs.

YOUR DAY AS A SERVER ASSISTANT

As a Server Assistant at Austin Country Club, you play an essential role in ensuring that orders flow in an efficient manner from our servers to the kitchen. You relay information between the kitchen and waitstaff, ensuring orders are prepared with the correct priority. Using exceptional problem-solving skills, you eliminate any obstacles that may affect service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing stations. You also report guest comments, complaints, and any employee or guest accidents to management in a timely manner.
