Job summary
Mad Engine Global is seeking a creative Apparel Designer to join our Design team, focusing on the Men's apparel category for U.S. Wholesale.
You will design seasonal men's collections from concept through production and collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and Production to deliver trend-right, commercially successful products. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of apparel design experience, a strong portfolio, and advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well
Qualifications
- 3+ years of apparel design experience.
- Men's apparel design experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in wholesale, licensed or private label apparel
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit & silhouettes
- Experience designing for major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Ross or similar accounts is a plus
- Strong portfolio showcasing Men's apparel design and technical skills
- Creative, detail-oriented & passionate about fashion trends
Responsibilities
- Design seasonal Men's apparel collections from concept through production
- Research men's fashion trends, fabrics, graphics & silhouettes
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales & Production
- Develop licensed, branded & private label apparel collections
