Job summary

Mad Engine Global is seeking a creative Apparel Designer to join our Design team, focusing on the Kids apparel category. You will lead seasonal collections from concept through production, researching trends and fabrics, prints and silhouettes to deliver commercially successful products for major retailers.

Collaborating with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and Production, you will develop licensed, branded, and private label kids apparel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apparel design experience.
• Children's apparel design experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in wholesale, licensed or private label apparel.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, fit & silhouettes.
• Experience designing for major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Ross or similar accounts.
• Creative, detail-oriented & passionate about fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Design seasonal Kids apparel collections from concept through production.
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, graphics, prints & silhouettes.
• Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales & Production.
• Develop licensed, branded & private label apparel collections.
