Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Application Engineer to join the technical support and customer success team in the US.

You will be the technical liaison between product development and customers across the US, providing lab support to ensure optimal integration and performance of MEMS timing solutions. The role involves pre- and post-sales support, design-in assistance for embedded systems and power electronics, and close collaboration with sales, R&D, and product marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering.
• Hands-on lab experience with test equipment (RF/analog/digital).
• Experience with embedded C and Python for lab automation.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers in pre-sales and post-sales stages.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend semiconductor products or systems.
• Validate customer solutions in the lab to ensure performance.
• Develop product presentations, technical docs, and training.
• Support design-in efforts for customer projects (embedded systems, timing).
• Perform root-cause analysis of issues and troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region.
• Stay current with semiconductor trends and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with product marketing on roadmaps and next-gen solutions.
