Job summary

Precision Neuroscience in Addison, TX is seeking a hands-on Equipment Engineer to own MEMS fabrication tooling. You’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Fab equipment, focusing on vacuum systems, RF generators, and precision assemblies to maximize uptime while meeting ISO cleanroom standards.

The role requires a BS in a technical field or equivalent military training, 4+ years in semiconductor/microfabrication equipment maintenance in a clean room, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor/microfabrication equipment in a clean room.
  • Experience with vacuum systems, RF generators, and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Strong documentation and adherence to ISO cleanroom standards.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Hardware Support: service, repair, and troubleshooting of complexFab equipment.
  • Tool Performance: execute PM procedures and improve tool uptime.
  • Installation & Modification: lead installation and hardware changes to improve stability.
  • Diagnostics: interpret schematics to diagnose tool issues.
  • Documentation: log actions and changes in CMMS.
  • Spare Parts: evaluate and test replacement parts.
  • Orientation & onboarding: 1 month integration with the team.
  • PM ownership: 6–12 months to lead PM programs on key tools.
  • SME: become internal expert for assigned tools over 2 years.
