Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Memphis, TN. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare and position patients, and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images. This travel role offers 12-hour day shifts, a 36-hour work week, and a competitive benefits package.

Requirements include one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures and position them appropriately.
Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the system.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
Perform other CT Tech duties within the scope of practice.
