Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Memphis, Tennessee. The position requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required.

The CT Tech will perform imaging, patient care, and operate CT equipment in a fast-paced travel setting. The role involves 12-hour days, 36 hours per week over a 13-week duration, with pay package based on shifts and a possible tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) certification with registration in CT and state licensing when required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients for scans.
• Capture diagnostic CT images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain patient records.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS.
