Job summary

SpaceXSI in Memphis, TN is seeking a Sr. Manager of Memphis Power Plant Operations to lead 24/7 gas turbine power generation for the Colossus data center campus.

You will own plant performance, safety, and environmental compliance while driving scale-up, reliability, and cost- and schedule targets with cross-functional teams. You will manage construction, commissioning, maintenance, and outages, coordinate with utilities and OEMs, and serve as site leader to regulators and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in power generation, plant management or related industrial ops.
• 3+ years leading teams of technicians and engineers.
• Experience with gas turbine power plants (simple/combined cycle).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Memphis gas turbine power plant.
• Own end-to-end delivery of electrical power to Colossus data center sites.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 operations and construction environment.
• Develop and execute O&M strategies, maintenance, outages, and load management.
• Manage budgets, fuel, O&M, CAPEX and annual operating plans.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
