SpaceXSI in Memphis, TN seeks a Sr. Manager of Memphis Power Plant Operations to lead 24/7 gas turbine power generation for the Colossus data center campus.

You own plant operations, maintenance, commissioning, and expansion with a focus on reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will manage cross-functional teams of operators, engineers, and contractors, drive capital projects, budgeting, and fuel management, and partner with data center operations and external stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years in power generation operations or aerospace.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Experience with gas turbine power plants.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Memphis gas turbine power plant, including 24/7 operations, maintenance, commissioning, and ongoing construction and capacity expansion.
• Own end-to-end delivery of electrical power to the Colossus data center sites, ensuring reliability and redundancy.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of operators, maintenance technicians, engineers, contractors, and support staff in a 24/7 environment.
• Develop and execute operations and maintenance strategies, including preventative/predictive maintenance and outage planning.
• Manage budgets, fuel management, O&M, and capital projects while expanding capacity.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance and collaborate with regulators and stakeholders.
