Job summary

Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Access Control Patrol to protect clients across tech, media, and telecom environments. You will perform routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, verify badges, and maintain calm, customer-focused service while following site procedures.

This role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work day shifts as listed. CPR/First Aid and badge-system experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience working in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas, including access points and parking areas.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site contacts or responders.
• Complete required activity and incident reports and daily logs.
