Job summary

Piedmont Gardens, a HumanGood community in Oakland, is seeking a Memory Support Program Manager to coordinate the memory care program ensuring residents' physical, social and emotional needs are met. You will supervise a team and partner with health services to deliver compassionate care.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, payroll, dementia training and collaboration with the Community Life Coordinator.

Qualifications

• B.A. degree in healthcare or related field.
• Must be able to check in with all shifts as needed.
• Experience in leadership role in the setting, team management, dementia training experience, scheduling, attendance/payroll are strongly preferred.

• Supervises Team Members in the Memory Support; supervision includes management of work schedules, hiring, training, evaluating, employee development, coaching, discipline, salary increases, and adjustments.
• Leads by example and collaborates with Community Life Coordinator to ensure team members engage residents in programs.
• Reports to Health Services Administrator.
• Memory Support is 16 bed unit.

Description

Under limited supervision, the Memory Support Program Manager coordinates the memory support program to ensure that the physical, social & emotional needs of the residents and their families are met. As a representative and team member of the company, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.

Pay range: $69,256 - $84,864

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• B.A. degree in healthcare or related field.
• Must be able to check in with all shifts as needed.
