Job summary

The Columbia Presbyterian Community in Columbia, SC is hiring a Memory Support Care Partner to provide compassionate daily living assistance, companionship, and wellness monitoring for residents living with memory impairments. This full-time role includes meals, mobility support, and participation in social activities within a supportive team environment.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, caregiving experience preferred, strong communication and interpersonal skills, CPR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience, preferably with memory support.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental health to nursing staff.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Participate in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
