Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina’s Florence community is seeking a Memory Support Care Partner to provide compassionate, person-centered care for residents with memory challenges. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and report health changes to the nursing team in a warm, homelike setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience, preferably with memory support.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and mental health to nursing staff.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Participate in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.

Memory Support Care Partner Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

Required To Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably with memory support
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred To Have

• CPR certification
• Experience working as a Med Tech
• One year experience working in a Healthcare Setting in senior living.
• Computer Skills
