Job summary

Penguin Solutions in Silicon Valley seeks a Hardware Product Engineer to drive memory product development from design to production. You will collaborate with design, layout, sales, marketing, manufacturing and test teams to ensure successful releases.

You will manage BOMs, specifications, AVLs, SPD, and monitor design release and validation cycles while recommending process improvements. Onsite role in Newark, CA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/electronic engineering or relevant field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create product and component part numbers in the system.
• Manage creation and changes to product BOMs for new and derivative products.
• Prepare products for release to manufacturing and test.
• Prepare and review product specifications/datasheets.
• Create and maintain Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs).
• Create SPD for memory products.
• Monitor products through design release and validation process.
• Recommend product/process corrections and improvements.
