Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a Memory Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for memory subsystems, including initialization, training, calibration, and configuration. You will collaborate with architecture, RTL, and validation teams to deliver robust firmware across pre- and post-silicon stages.

Ideal candidates have C/C++ programming experience, embedded systems knowledge, and familiarity with firmware debugging and simulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 2+ years of experience.
• Experience programming in C and/or C++.
• Basic understanding of computer architecture, embedded systems, or low-level software development.
• Knowledge of firmware debugging, software testing, or simulation methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Develop and enhance firmware for memory subsystem initialization, training, calibration, and configuration.
• Design firmware interfaces between hardware and software components.
• Support firmware integration in simulation and validation environments.
• Debug and resolve firmware issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, verification, and validation teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation activities for firmware quality.
• Support compliance with JEDEC standards and memory subsystem requirements.
• Analyze system behavior and identify opportunities to improve performance, stability, and functionality.
