Job summary

Belmont Village Sunnyvale is seeking an Enrichment Leader to plan, organize, and implement specialized activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

You will lead group activities, follow our memory enrichment curriculum, and support residents to thrive as they age. Availability includes a full-time and a weekend-based schedule; the role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field required.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which includes weekends.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent, reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting research to lead memory enrichment activities.
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking resident participation and maintaining documentation.
