Job summary

Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking an Activity Enrichment Leader to bring engaging, research-based programs to cognitively impaired seniors. You will lead small-group fitness, art, music, thought-provoking discussions, and enrichment activities using our established curriculum.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree with related coursework, at least 6 months of group leadership experience, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Professional, pleasant, adaptable with a team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors using our Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting research to lead engaging memory enrichment activities.
• Assisting with cognitive assessments, tracking participation, and maintaining documentation.
