Job summary

Belmont Village Los Gatos is seeking an Enrichment Leader to plan, organize, and implement memory enrichment activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will lead group activities using our award-winning curriculum, and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while delivering exceptional hospitality.

The role requires reliability, empathy, and comfort with a physically active schedule; weekends may be included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work the defined schedule which may include weekends.
• Clear verbal and written English communication is required.
• Professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors.
• Prepare materials and conduct memory enrichment activities.
• Assist with cognitive assessments and track participation; maintain compliance documentation.
