Job summary

Geisinger’s Neuroscience Institute seeks a Memory and Cognitive neurology physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role primarily supports Memory and Cognition with a secondary General Neurology involvement.

The successful candidate will perform initial assessments, coordinate follow-ups, and work with the team to develop patient care plans. A PA or NP credential with required certifications is needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program and NCCPA eligible or certified.
• NCCPA certification and PA state medical board eligibility/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and triage of patients based on information pertinent to presenting condition.
• Keeps track of procedure and lab results, discusses with physician, and communicates results/plans to family and patient.
• Assists with arranging appropriate follow-up for patients.
