Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care is seeking a Wellness Director (RN or LPN) in Bloomington, IL to lead resident services and medication management for memory care communities. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining budgets and quality standards.

The position requires a state-licensed RN or LPN, CPR certification, and experience in geriatric care leadership.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) licensed to practice per state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing staff in healthcare.
• Experience at department head level in Assisted Living or related industry.
• CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Must complete medication management training and state-required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule resident services staff per policies and standards.
• Establish and maintain a medication system compliant with laws and guidelines.
• Perform assessments and create service plans for residents.
• Manage daily routines, safety plans, and personal care for memory-impaired residents.
• Operate department within budget and company policies.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing education.
