Job summary

Coterie Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Assistant to support residents with dementia through daily care and engagement. You will assist with meals, activities, and basic housekeeping while maintaining a respectful, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include meal setup, serving, activity facilitation, and communicating any changes to the Memory Care Director; driving duties may be required. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of care experience with dementia or cognitive impairment.
• Must complete Atria-specified training programs.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information in one-to-one or small group settings.
• Basic math and problem-solving ability.
• Able to work varied schedules and shifts.
• Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record.

Responsibilities

• Attend to care needs of Memory Care residents.
• Set up tables for all meals and serve meals in dining room.
• Provide snacks and beverages to residents daily.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks in common areas and residents' apartments.
• Support daily programming and engagement activities.
• Engage residents to encourage participation and independence.
• Greet new residents and foster social connections.
• Communicate changes in resident needs to Memory Care Director.
• May drive company vehicle if required by community.
