Job summary

Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Memory Homes Household Team Member to support residents in our memory care houses. This full-time, non-exempt role works closely with the Director of Memory Care to foster a homelike environment.

Provide care, assist with daily activities, dining, housekeeping and programming in a person-centered setting for residents with dementia. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older (required).
• High School Diploma, GED, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry (required).
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified (preferred).
• First Aid certification or willingness to become certified (preferred).
• ServeSafe Education (Preferred).
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to obtain Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification and perform duties within the scope of practice as required to meet business needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, and visitors, as required.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Use or learn computer software used in the facility, i.e. word processing, e-mails, spreadsheets.
