Menno Haven Memory Homes in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Memory Care Team Member (CNA) for full-time 6am–2:30pm. You will provide personalized care in a homelike Memory Care environment, support daily living activities, and collaborate with a team to create a resident-centered program.

Requirements include 18+, High School Diploma or PA nurse aide registry, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and Med Tech credentials. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older (required)
• High School Diploma, GED, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry (required)
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified (preferred)
• First Aid certification or willingness to become certified (preferred)
• ServeSafe Education (Preferred)
• Demonstrates ability to obtain Med Tech certification and perform duties as required to meet business needs
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, and visitors
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Use or learn computer software used in the facility (word processing, e-mails, spreadsheets)

Description

The Memory Homes Household Team Member works in collaboration with other Memory Homes Team Members to create a homelike environment and encourage Elder involvement in the life of the house. This role works under the general direction of the Director of Memory Care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide personalized care and support in our Memory Care Houses
• Assist with daily activities of living, dining, housekeeping, and programming
• Create a home-like environment for residents with dementia
• Work collaboratively in a person-centered setting

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older (required)
• High School Diploma, GED, or active registry status on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry (required)
