Silverado Lee's Summit is hiring a Full Time Resident Engagement Assistant for the AM shift to bring joy, engagement, and purpose to residents through daily activities and memory enrichment programs in a compassionate team setting. You will lead with heart, plan and facilitate small-group activities, and support therapy sessions.

A high school diploma and good English communication are required; you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
