Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in West Babylon, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides for a part-time role. You will provide hands-on care, support residents with daily living activities, and act as a friendly, familiar face in our community.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, escorting residents to meals and activities, and safeguarding residents' wellbeing while following established policies and supervising guidance.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide
• Must be able to speak and read in English
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Experience with geriatrics and ADLs preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being
• Helping out in the Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness
