Available shifts will be scheduled Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:30am to 7:00pm.

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead group, individual and resident orientation activities
- Set up and clean‑up of space/supplies/equipment for activities, classes and events
- Support new resident orientation activities as required
- Coordinate events, including booking, catering and advertising; develop and maintain a list of scenic drives and destinations
- Provide transportation for recreation trips for residents as needed, assist residents in and out of the bus or vehicle as required.
- Provide clerical support
- Document resident participation
- Oversee Cognitive Enrichment, Physical Fitness and Social programming
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Experience leading group activities and fitness programs
- Demonstrated excellence in time management and attention to detail, consistently meeting stringent deadlines within designated time frames
- Ability to provide safe toileting and mobility support for residents when on external community outings as required
- Possess and maintain a valid WA State Driver License and driving record compliant with Era Living Qualified and Authorized Drivers policy, required; must be 25 years’ old
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- CTRS preferred.
- Previous experience working with older adults or persons with cognitive impairments, preferred.
- Required:
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Washington State Alcohol Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Possess or able to obtain as soon as possible upon hire:
- Complete Caregiver Dementia and Caregiver Mental Health training within 120 days of hire
- Must complete 70 hour course to earn a long term care aide certificate within 120 days of hire ** Not required if worked in boarding home setting in 2011
- Complete 12 hours of Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) yearly (completed by birthdate)
