Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Clare Bridge Program Manager in Florida to lead engaging, person-centered dementia care programs that elevate residents’ quality of life. You will coach a team of caregivers, design meaningful activities, and ensure compassionate, consistent care across the community.

You will partner with leadership to deliver dementia training, manage admissions and move-in/out processes, and direct calendar planning of resident-focused programs tailored to individual

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
• Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's dementia care program and coach caregivers.
• Collaborate with leadership to train staff and manage preadmission/move-in/move-out processes and education on dementia care.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's overall dementia care program as well as directly providing coaching and leadership of associates who are caregivers within the community. This includes providing oversight to ensure Care Associates deliver person centered programming, dining, and care.
• Collaborate with leadership team providing dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move out process of residents, hiring, and education of associates regarding dementia care including how to lead programs and interventions for behavioral expression. You will plan and directly coordinate a calendar of dementia friendly programs that meet the specific needs of each and all residents within the dementia care community.
• A Bachelor's Degree such as gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with a minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred. Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
