Brookdale Phillipi Creek seeks a Memory Care Program Manager for a 25-unit memory care building. If you have memory care program management experience, apply.

You’ll lead dementia care programs, guide a team of caregivers, and design person-centered experiences that improve residents' quality of life. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coach staff, ensure compassionate, consistent care, and collaborate with leadership on training, admissions, and program interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field required or preferred.
• Minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience in dementia care preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias in a residential setting recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the dementia care program and coach care associates delivering person-centered programming and care.
• Coordinate dementia training, admissions/move-in/move-out processes and staff education on dementia care.
• Plan and execute a calendar of dementia-friendly programs meeting each resident’s needs.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement’s overall dementia care program as well as directly providing coaching and leadership of associates who are caregivers within the community. This includes providing oversight to ensure Care Associates deliver person centered programming, dining, and care.
• Collaborate with leadership team providing dementia training, preadmission/move-in/move out process of residents, hiring, and education of associates regarding dementia care including how to lead programs and interventions for behavioral expression. You will plan and directly coordinate a calendar of dementia friendly programs that meet the specific needs of each and all residents within the dementia care community.
• A Bachelor’s Degree such as gerontology, therapeutic recreation or related field with a minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience preferred. Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in a residential setting is required.
