Job summary

The Fellowship Family is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator for Fellowship Carolina Park in Mount Pleasant, SC to oversee daily operations of the memory care unit and ensure high-quality, person-centered care for residents with dementia.

You will lead and train caregiving staff, develop engaging programming, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with clinical teams, families, and leadership to create a safe, dignified, and enriching environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in senior living, memory care, or a related healthcare setting.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices and person-centered care approaches.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with compassion and professionalism.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the memory care unit
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and specialized programming
• Supervise, train, and support caregiving staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations
• Monitor resident well-being and respond to behavioral or clinical changes
• Communicate effectively with families regarding resident care and updates
• Promote a positive, safe, and structured environment for residents
• Collaborate with nursing, activities, and leadership teams
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of staff
