Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH is seeking a PCA: Personal Care Aide to join our memory care team at Bradford Houses. You will assist residents with daily living activities, support dementia care, and help with meals, mobility, and transport as part of a compassionate, mission-driven team.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, day/evening/night options, and a pay range of $15–$18.55 per hour based on experience and shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, geriatrics, or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to work onsite and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and dining).
• Provide compassionate care and support for individuals with dementia.
• Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean home environment.
• Support residents with transportation, errands, and daily routines.
• Communicate resident needs and changes with the care team.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with basic care tasks under supervision.
