Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and cognitive activities.
• Report incidents to Health Services Director and participate in post-incident huddles.
• Assist with grooming, meals, mobility, and personal hygiene per care plan.
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and chart changes.
• Create a safe environment to minimize confusion and promote independence.
• Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain supply rooms and report hazardous conditions.
• Be familiar with Montessori Approach where applicable.
