Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents in our senior living community. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and safety for each resident.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience in caregiving or long-term care. Strong English communication, patience, empathy, and a collaborative mindset are essential; flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and support including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support ambulation, positioning, and ROM activities.
• Monitor comfort and address needs and concerns promptly.
• Record vital signs, weight, and intake/output accurately.
• Report changes to Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document care and observations in accordance with Mosaic policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Care & Support
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Health Monitoring & Documentation
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.
