Job summary

Boone Ridge Senior Living in Salem, OR is seeking a caring Caregiver to build meaningful connections with residents and provide compassionate support to help them live each day with dignity and joy. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and daily activities; monitor comfort and vitals; document care per regulations; and report changes to the Caregiver Coordinator.

Requires a high school diploma and good English communication; evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors.
• Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Support ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities.
• Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately.
• Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director.
• Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage residents in activities and meaningful engagement.
