Job summary

Sunshine Palma Ceia in Tampa, FL seeks a compassionate memory care aide to support residents with daily living activities and dignity. You will work with a team to deliver safe, person-centered care in a calm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, mobility, and meals; monitoring changes; and maintaining accurate documentation. A med-tech certificate is required, with prior memory care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Med-tech certificate required.
• Experience in memory care or related healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for activities of daily living (grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, mobility, eating).
• Maintain a safe, clean environment per care plans and facility procedures.
• Observe changes in condition or behavior and report to the team promptly.
• Encourage resident engagement and respectful communication in daily activities.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
• Document care and complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Respond calmly to memory loss, confusion, or anxiety as needed.
• Support infection prevention, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with nurses and caregivers to deliver consistent care.
