Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Registered Medication Associate to support Memory Care residents. This full-time role runs 7am–7pm, 3–4 days weekly with every other weekend. You will assist in medication administration, document care, and ensure safety and confidentiality.

The RMA must be certified as a Resident Care Associate, maintain CE credits, and have CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain. Strong computer skills and compassion are essential to excel in this care-focused community.

Qualifications

• Certification as Resident Care Associate is required.
• Continuing education credits must be maintained per state requirements.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration techniques.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Demonstrate compassion for residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administer and record medications as prescribed, and observe ingestion.
• Document updates and changes in resident records and logs.
• Count and report controlled substances and maintain accountability.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and observe infection control practices.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff clearly and accurately.
• Provide verbal encouragement and support to residents, especially during care.
• Perform duties as assigned and act as shift supervisor when needed.
