Job summary

Avalon Senior Living in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications in the memory care unit. This PRN, 12-hour shift role requires accuracy, compassion, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines to support residents living with memory care needs.

The successful candidate will maintain medication records, document vitals as needed, and work closely with a caregiving team to ensure residents receive timely, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Certified Qualified Medication Aide with state credentials.
• CPR certification.
• Experience in memory care or similar setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
