Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a compassionate Medication Assistant to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Responsibilities include maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs, transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record, and coordinating with outside health care professionals as needed.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, meet state education requirements, CPR preferred, and experience with elderly

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with activities of daily living.
• Transport residents within the community to activities or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls and health-care related requests as needed.
