Job summary

The Village at Summerville, part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, seeks a Memory Support Care Partner to create a warm, homelike experience for residents. You will assist with daily living, offer companionship, and help monitor health with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving experience, preferably with memory care.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with memory impairments.
• Observe and report changes in health to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Participate in social and recreational activities with residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
