Job summary

Seaton Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, invites applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Memory Care Community. This full-time role covers nights (3-11 pm) on a rotating schedule, with every other weekend.

You will provide nursing care per the plan of care, monitor residents, support health promotion, and coordinate services with the care team. Requirements: 2 years LPN experience, 2 years in assisted living or nursing home, license in good standing,

Qualifications

• Two years LPN experience required.
• Two years experience in assisted living or in a nursing home.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• Ability to ensure community follows all federal, state and local laws and regulations as pertains to resident services and care.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
• A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
• The ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the client’s plan of care, including health and psychosocial evaluation.
• Monitor the client’s condition and coordinate health promotion and prevention services.
• Coordinate services with the care team to ensure high-quality resident care.
