Job summary

Generations is seeking a Line Cook for Wheatland Village in Walla Walla, WA. You will prepare all food per the menu, ensuring appetizing presentation and consistency in a senior living setting, with an emphasis on compassion and reliability.

Experience in food preparation is desirable but not required; CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days. This is a full-time role with Friday–Tuesday shifts and 8-hour days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food per the menu and ensure appetizing presentation.
• Assist personnel and residents in creating a home-like atmosphere.
• Follow food safety and handling procedures to meet dietary needs.
• Support a clean, organized kitchen and team-oriented environment.
