Navion of Cotswold is seeking a Memory Care Coordinator (Med Tech) to join a growing team. You will oversee care, supervise staff, and develop programming for memory care residents in a home-like setting.

This full-time, 1st shift role requires clinical experience and MedTech certification. The position offers opportunities to lead, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with physicians and activity staff as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• MedTech certification is required.
• Experience or training in an equivalent setting is preferred.
• General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors.
• Aptitude and prior experience with Alzheimer’s and memory-impaired residents.
• Ability to manage team processes and promote a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct resident services and medication management when needed.
• Schedule and supervise resident care staff.
• Coordinate and monitor daily assignments.
• Develop programming for memory care residents.
• Ensure Memory Boxes are in place for each resident.
• Coordinate with Activities Coordinator for supervision of activities and outings.
• Update resident service plans to reflect needs and abilities.
• Communicate with physicians/healthcare providers regarding resident health status.
• Maintain resident documentation.
• Schedule physician tests and assist residents with appointments.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations and community policies.
• Assist with orientation and education of resident care staff.
• Evaluate and discipline resident care staff.
• Follow fire safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct departmental meetings/trainings.
• Address resident/family complaints related to non-clinical issues.
• Demonstrate courteous, friendly attitude with residents, families, and co-workers.
