Job summary

Qualifications

• License/Certification: State approved Medication Administration training and current first aid certificate.
• Education/Experience: Minimum 2 years health-related experience with dementia care or supervisory experience.
• Job Knowledge: Dementia care procedures, care plans, universal precautions, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs by interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling caregivers and med techs.
• Assist in new hire paperwork, attendance tracking, time sheets, evaluations, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate orientation, training modules, and mandatory in-service meetings for memory care staff.
• Lead dementia care training and ensure staff understand negotiated service plans and task sheets.
• Monitor resident conditions, report changes to Wellness Director, and maintain accurate records.
