Job summary

Ovation is seeking a Laundry Technician at Ovation Heartwood Preserve in Omaha, NE. You will collect, sort, launder, and distribute facility linens and personal clothing in a memory care setting, following strict infection control and privacy standards.

Qualifications include being 18+, with a preference for prior laundry or housekeeping in medical facilities, and the ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer experience in housekeeping or laundry in a medical facility.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with staff and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linens and personal clothing daily from resident rooms and drop-off points.
• Sort items by fabric, color, and soil level; identify items needing special handling.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers following sanitation protocols.
• Fold, hang, and distribute clean laundry; restock linens to units.
• Label clothing for memory care residents to prevent loss.
• Keep laundry area clean and safe; report equipment issues.
• Follow infection control and PPE protocols.
