Silverado Franklin is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our memory care community. This role blends attention to detail with reliability and compassion, helping maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents living with neurodegenerative conditions.

You will collect, clean, and sort laundry, ensure proper handling of garments, and support the department’s goals while upholding safety and sanitary standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Active moves: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens.
• Contribute to department and community goals and objectives.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
