Silverado Franklin is hiring a Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for our residents in a memory care community. This role blends attention to detail, reliability, and a heart for service.

You will collect, clean, and sort laundry, ensure proper handling of garments and linens, and support the department's goals and the community. Full-time PM shift, Tuesday–Saturday, with pay around $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens.
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
