Job summary

Triple Crown Senior Living's Cardinal Landing Memory Care in Kentucky is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. This full-time role places you in a memory care setting, performing daily cleaning of resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with policy and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have prior housekeeping or cleaning experience or strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, time-management and computer skills.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand and uphold facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas daily and according to community policy.
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Post signs indicating a safety hazard when housekeeping activities pose hazards.
• Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to chemicals.
• Follow safety instructions when using chemicals and refer to labels.
• Keep chemicals in original containers and report unsafe usage to supervisor.
• Monitor workplace for safety and report potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Secure housekeeping supplies so residents cannot access them.
