Job summary

Atria Senior Living’s Coterie community is hiring a Memory Care Assistant to provide personal care and support daily programming for Memory Care residents. You will assist with meals, activities, and resident engagement under the Wellness Director’s guidance.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma and at least one year of dementia care experience, plus successful completion of required training programs. Vaccination records are requested at hire.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year experience caring for individuals with dementia or cognitive impairment.
• Must complete all Atria-specified training programs.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all care needs of Memory Care residents.
• Set up tables for meals and serve meals and drinks.
• Provide snacks and beverages to residents, including those in rooms.
• Assist with light housekeeping and cleanup after meals.
• Support daily activities and engagement per the resident's plan.
• Greet new residents and facilitate social integration.
• Monitor changes in resident needs and communicate with the Memory Care Director.
• May drive company vehicle to community activities if required.
