Silverado is seeking an Activity Assistant in St. Charles, IL to support memory care programs. You will help plan daily activities, organize enrichment sessions, and encourage resident participation while working with a compassionate team in a supportive environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, clear English communication, and a willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia. Training is provided; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation for attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with memory care or older adults preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
