Silverado is seeking a Full Time Resident Engagement Assistant (AM) in Lee's Summit, Missouri. You will help plan daily activity programs, lead memory enrichment activities, and support therapeutic sessions, bringing joy and engagement to residents.

Strong English communication, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work with residents with dementia are essential. The role offers paid training, opportunities for growth, and a benefits package.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Effective communication in English (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Animal-friendly environment.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in planning and leading daily activity programs.
• Organize and facilitate memory enrichment activities for small groups.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Prepare materials and conduct research for recreational programs.
• Support music and occupational therapy sessions.
